Title insurance is often the simple and practical solution to the problems of enforceability and priority of leases and mortgages.
These interests are of five types: Designated Land under the Indian Act Certificate of Possession or Locatee Lands under the Indian Act Land Codes under the First Nations Land Management Act (FNLMA) Land covered by a Constitution in a Self-governed reserve Dual Registry Lands
