"As a young leader, I learned so much from watching and listening to Chief Leeson, who did so much work for his people over the decades, which was highlighted by the first modern day Treaty, the Nisga'a Treaty. Chief Leeson leaves behind a lasting legacy that will continue to influence First Nations - Crown relations for decades to come."
