VANCOUVER, Oct. 15 - The Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC) and the Four Host First Nations (FHFN) invite media to a special sneak preview of the art that will be featured at the Vancouver 2010 Aboriginal Art Auction and Exhibition. The exhibition and auction will feature more than 50 artworks, including paintings, carvings and photography, from master and emerging First Nations, Inuit and Métis artists from every region in Canada.
Hosts from VANOC, FHFN and the Government of Canada will provide brief opening remarks, followed by an opportunity to preview the art and meet the artists, who will also be at the free public exhibition on Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18.
