Cweedband.com, CDPlus Canada, Newcap Radio and the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) are collaborating on a promotional initiative to showcase aboriginal recording artists.

An aboriginal artists music rack has been set up in select CD Plus stores across Canada featuring 40 top aboriginal recording artist titles.

Any aboriginal artists are welcome to submit a cd to the promotional initiative provided the disc is professionally recorded and professionally packaged with a UPC code. Burnt CDs are not eligible.

The CDs are sold on a 90-day consignment and distributed at the CD Plus chain of music stores. Promotion for the initiative is provided by APTN and Newcap Radio.
