| Description | FNSDS 2009 Annual Conference "Building Sustainable First Nations Communities" February 2-3, 2009 One of the responsibilities the FNSDS considers a high priority is to keep abreast of the needs and concerns of First Nations in BC as they relate to Social Development and the health and wellbeing of BC First Nations. The FNSDS Conferences create a venue for the procurement of this information while creating opportunity for Social Development field staff to network, be heard and to receive needed information on the social, political and economic changes that may affect their work, clients and communities. The First Nations Social Development Society is hosting its annual conference this year at the Pan Pacific Hotel on February 2nd and 3rd 2009. This year’s conference theme is predicated on building sustainable futures with our people and in our communities.
